Green Man

“Green Man”

By Bob W Christian

While walking in the forest
Surrounded by nature,
I gazed upon your face.
Those eyes, so green
Like the plants dancing.
Yours is the unseen
Breath, swaying leaves are
Fields of rippling skin.
Your golden sunshine
Warming. Creating life,
Bringing such brightest
Blessings to each and
Every season in this,
Our most hallowed place.

About Bob W Christian

I’m Bob Christian; a husband, father, grandfather and cat dad. I’m a dyslexic poet. I am on the Autism Spectrum and I started writing poetry, or scribbles as I’ve always referred to them, to help me to process my thoughts and emotions. It’s also helped with my PTSD. It’s gone from there and after over 20 years is still going strong, I’m now finally dabbling in to photography as I’ve been told I have a good eye.

  1. I decided recently to take my life back down an old familiar road. This also took my writing down, a new route. This is the first of a series of pieces based around various nature based belief structures.
I’d be very interested in your thought.
